My TLP peeps!
Thank you to everyone involved with TLP, and especially to Kyle Dunbar, for helping me take the leap into global education this year! I would not have taken a leap into global education without your guidance and encouragement! The Global Classroom Project was the source of much of my inspiration in learning about global education projects; there are some really inspiring teachers out there, all getting connected and connecting their students via the Global Classroom Project. If you are interested in learning more about global education, please please visit the wiki - it is an amazing resource: http://theglobalclassroomproject.wordpress.com/
My Tweeps!
From a word I didn't know existed, came to me a whole new world of professional development unrolling before my eyes. Twitter became my PLN of choice this year, and I am very grateful to have been 'introduced' to the immense global community of smart, effective educators from whom I have learned about more than just educational technology this year! If you are in search of a PLN, I would wholeheartedly recommend joining Twitter. Find and follow me, @MsKCherry, and look at the people I follow: you'll find some of the talented educators who are teaching me!
